Programming means formulating an algorithm that solves a given problem in a form acceptable for the computer. The programming is aimed at effective use of the computer that is in conformance with expectations. It is commonly thought good programming combines elements of engineering, skill and art.
The following types of programming are distinguished in the theory of management:
Automatic programming: a process of preparing the program by computer;
Dynamic programming: a method of solving optimisation problems for such models of processes, whose parameters change in time (the recurring dependencies are used and the optimal value of one component is divided in each stage);
Mathematical programming: methods of searching the optimal solutions based on the mathematical theory of applying the principle of economisation of activity;
Linear programming: methods of solving linear optimisation models;
Non-linear programming: methods of solving problems, using models, which cannot be described by means of linear equations and inequalities;
Heuristic programming: methods using the principles of creative thinking and acting to solve problems;
Network programming: presentation of the problem which is being solved in the form of a graph (a geometric figure consisting of points, being a graphic image of the relations), and later on, analysis of such a graph applying the graphs theory (that is, a graphic presentation of the type and order of performed activities resulting from the assumed algorithm for solving the problem.).
For the most part, the mySAP.com system has been written in the Netweaver ABAP programming language and uses the so called open system, meaning that the program code is accessible and may be developed or modified by the user. What is more, it has been equipped with additional specialist tools enabling such development:

Netweaver ABAP - Creating and modifying data base tables as well as insights and indices,

Netweaver ABAP - System of transports enabling the transfer of ones own solutions between the development, testing and productive systems.
No system, even the best and most developed one, is able to meet 100% of users’ requirements because of their number. Therefore, the need arises to provide extensions and modifications of existing solutions.
Most often, such work may be divided into several stages:
Analysis of needs and existing solutions,
Preparation of algorithms and processes,
Implementation (encoding) solutions,
Preparation of the basic data necessary for the correct performance of the solution,
Testing of the solution,
Training of users,
Productive start of the solution.
The reasonable, planned and well-performed extensions of the system are able to replace investments in additional systems and technologies. They are cheaper and bring noticeable final effects faster. They also enable complete control over the selected solution Netweaver ABAP.
